| Nitrile
75 - General purpose industrial grade material with
excellent resistance to petroleum based oils and fuels. Nitrile
has good mechanical properties. Nitrile is not resistant to
weathering and ozone. |
| Fluorocarbon
75 - Excellent resistance to high temperature, ozone,
oxygen, mineral oils, synthetic hydraulic fluids and fuels.
Low temperature resistance is not good in static application. |
| Hydrogenated
Nitrile 75 - HNBR - Higher chemical resistance, mechanical
properties and operating temperatures than standard Nitrile
75. Good resistance to weathering and ozone. |
| Nitrile
70 - WRC - General purpose WRC industrial grade material
with excellent resistance to petroleum based oils and fuels.
Nitrile has good mechanical properties. Nitrile is not resistant
to weathering and ozone. |
| Ethylene
Propylene 70 - WRC - Similar to standard Ethylene Propylene
but better physical characteristics when compared to sulphur
cured Ethylene Propylene. This is peroxide cured and has WRC,
NSF, and KTW approvals. |
|
Silicone
70 - Excellent heat resistance and good cold flexibility.
Poor physical characteristics such as tensile strength, tear
resistance and wear resistance.

|
Ethylene
Propylene 70 - Excellent water and steam resistance.
It is also particularly useful for sealing phosphate - ester
hydraulic fluids and in brake systems that use a fluid with
glycol. The grade is sulphur cured.
|
| Polytetrafluoroethylene
(PTFE) - PTFE has good tensile properties and can be
used over a wide temperature range, -250°C to +260°C.
Furthermore PTFE has good low friction values, chemical resistance,
electrical properties and is non-toxic and so can be used in
contact with foods. |
